Our Mission
The Lowell Volunteer Hub is a centralized platform that connects residents, nonprofits, and community partners with meaningful volunteer opportunities across Lowell and the greater Merrimack Valley.
Volunteer opportunities in our region have long been fragmented across websites, social media pages, and word of mouth. The Volunteer Hub brings them together in one place, making it easier for people to find ways to give back and for organizations to find the help they need.

A Merrimack Valley where every resident can easily find ways to contribute to their community, and every organization has the volunteer support they need to fulfill their mission.
Project Merrimack
The Lowell Volunteer Hub is a program of Project Merrimack, a community initiative dedicated to strengthening the Merrimack Valley through technology, collaboration, and civic engagement.
Project Merrimack works with local organizations, the City of Lowell, and community sponsors to build tools and platforms that serve the public good.
Regional Focus
While centered in Lowell, the Volunteer Hub serves the broader Merrimack Valley including Dracut, Chelmsford, Tewksbury, Billerica, Tyngsborough, and surrounding communities.
